Ingredients

1 pound ground chicken

1 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped

1 cup white cheddar cheese, shredded

1/4 cup breadcrumbs

1/4 cup red onion, finely diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 large egg

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon paprika

1 tablespoon olive oil (for cooking)

Burger buns (your choice)

Toppings: lettuce, tomato, avocado, and additional cheddar cheese

Instructions

Prepare the Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, chopped spinach, shredded white cheddar, breadcrumbs, diced red onion, minced garlic, egg, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.

Form Patties: Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties.

Chill: Place the patties on a plate and refrigerate for about 20 minutes to firm them up. This helps them hold their shape while cooking.

Cook the Patties: Heat the olive oil in a large skillet or grill over medium heat. Once hot, add the burger patties. Cook for 5-6 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the burgers are golden brown.

Assemble the Burgers: Toast the burger buns lightly on the skillet or grill. Place each patty on a bun and top with your desired toppings (lettuce, tomato, avocado, and a slice of additional cheddar if desired).

Serve: Enjoy your White Cheddar and Spinach Chicken Burgers while hot with your favorite sides!
