Ingredients

8 oz. noodles (your choice: egg, rice, or udon)

4 cloves garlic, finely minced

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional for added depth)

1 tablespoon chili garlic sauce (adjust to spice preference)

1 teaspoon sugar

1 teaspoon rice vinegar

2 green onions, finely chopped

1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)

Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Cook the Noodles: Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water to stop cooking. Set aside.

Prepare the Sauce: In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, chili garlic sauce, sugar, and rice vinegar. Stir to combine and set aside.

Sauté Garlic: In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until golden brown and aromatic, being careful not to burn.

Combine Noodles and Sauce: Increase the heat to medium-high. Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and pour the sauce over the noodles. Toss well to coat the noodles evenly in the sauce.

Add Finishing Touches: Drizzle the sesame oil over the noodles. Add the chopped green onions and toss everything together for another minute to heat through.

Serve: Transfer the spicy garlic noodles to serving plates. Garnish with sesame seeds and fresh cilantro, if desired. Enjoy your delicious and flavorful dish!
