Ingredients

1 lb fresh salmon fillet, skin removed and cut into bite-sized cubes

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

½ cup hot honey (store-bought or homemade)

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon lime juice

Fresh cilantro or parsley for garnish

Lime wedges for serving

Instructions

Marinate the Salmon: In a large bowl, combine the hot honey, soy sauce, lime juice, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Add the salmon cubes and gently toss to coat them in the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes to 1 hour for maximum flavor.

Preheat the Oven or Grill: If you’re baking, preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). For grilling, preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

Prepare for Cooking: If baking, line a baking sheet with parchment paper. If grilling, lightly oil the grill grates.

        Cook the Salmon:

          - Oven Method: Arrange the marinated salmon bites on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

            - Grill Method: Place the salmon bites directly on the hot grill and cook for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until they are cooked through but still moist.

Serve and Garnish: Transfer the salmon bites to a serving platter. Drizzle any leftover hot honey marinade over them and garnish with fresh cilantro or parsley. Serve with lime wedges on the side.

Enjoy!: These hot honey salmon bites are perfect as an appetizer, main course, or party snack!
