2 large cucumbers, sliced into rounds

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

8 ounces fresh mozzarella balls (bocconcini), drained

1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, torn or whole

3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

1 tablespoon balsamic glaze (optional)

Salt and freshly cracked black pepper to taste

Instructions

Prepare the Vegetables: In a large bowl, combine sliced cucumbers, halved cherry tomatoes, and mozzarella balls.

Add Basil: Gently fold in the fresh basil leaves, ensuring they’re evenly distributed throughout the salad.

Dress the Salad: Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and, if using, balsamic glaze. Season generously with salt and freshly cracked black pepper.

Toss and Serve: Carefully toss the salad to combine all ingredients without mashing the mozzarella. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.

Chill (optional): For a refreshing touch, let the salad sit in the refrigerator for about 15-30 minutes before serving.
