Ingredients

1 lb ground chicken

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/4 cup ranch dressing

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

4 burger buns

Lettuce, tomato, and pickles for toppings

Optional: extra ranch dressing for serving

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, shredded cheddar cheese, ranch dressing, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and a pinch of salt and pepper.

Use your hands to mix everything together until just combined. Avoid over-mixing to keep the burgers tender.

Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into patties, about 1/2 inch thick.

Preheat a grill or a skillet over medium heat. Lightly grease the grill or skillet with cooking spray or a drizzle of oil.

Cook the chicken patties for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the burgers are golden brown.

While cooking, toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until lightly crispy.

Assemble the burgers by placing a chicken patty on the bottom half of each bun. Top with lettuce, tomato slices, pickles, and a drizzle of extra ranch dressing if desired.

Place the top half of the bun over the toppings and serve immediately.
