2 tablespoons olive oil

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)

Salt and pepper, to taste

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

5 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 cup chicken broth

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

12 oz rotini pasta

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Cook the Rotini: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the rotini according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

    Sear the Chicken: While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet, cover, and let rest.

      Make the Garlic Butter Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add the butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic, thyme, and oregano. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.
