Ingredients

8 oz fettuccine pasta

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1/2 cup BBQ sauce (choose your favorite)

1/4 cup ranch dressing

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Optional: additional BBQ sauce for drizzling

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving a little pasta water.

Prepare the Chicken: In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Season the cubed chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through (about 6-8 minutes). Remove from heat and set aside.

Make the Alfredo Sauce: In the same skillet, lower the heat and add the heavy cream. Stir in garlic powder and onion powder. Allow to simmer for 2-3 minutes, being careful not to let it boil.

Add Cheese and Sauces: Gradually whisk in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and smooth. Stir in the BBQ sauce and ranch dressing, mixing well to combine. If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of the reserved pasta water until you reach your desired consistency.

Combine Pasta and Chicken: Add the cooked fettuccine and chicken to the skillet with the sauce. Toss everything together until the pasta is evenly coated and warmed through.

Serve: Plate the creamy Alfredo pasta and drizzle with additional BBQ sauce if desired. Garnish with chopped parsley for a fresh touch.

Enjoy! Serve immediately while hot, and enjoy this rich and tangy twist on traditional Alfredo!
