Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

1 small onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon mustard

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough

2 tablespoons ketchup

2 tablespoons mayonnaise

1 tablespoon pickle relish (optional)

Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cook the Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.

Sauté Aromatics: Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes.

Season the Mixture: Stir in Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine, then remove from heat.

Add Cheese: Fold in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and well incorporated. Let the mixture cool slightly.

Roll Out the Dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a clean surface. Separate the dough into triangles as per the package instructions.

Fill the Dough: Place a spoonful of the beef and cheese mixture in the center of each triangle. Add a small amount of ketchup, mayonnaise, and pickle relish on top of the beef mixture.

Seal the Pockets: Fold the triangle over to form a pocket and press the edges together firmly. You can use a fork to crimp the edges for a decorative touch and to ensure they are sealed.

Bake the Pockets: Arrange the pockets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the tops with a little olive oil or melted butter and sprinkle sesame seeds over them.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.

Serve: Let the cheeseburger pockets cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy them with extra ketchup, mustard, or your favorite dipping sauce!
