Ingredients

1.5 pounds sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into 1-inch cubes

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning (adjust to taste)

Salt and black pepper to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving, optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Steak: Pat the steak cubes dry with paper towels to ensure a good sear. Season generously with salt, black pepper, and Cajun seasoning, mixing well to coat all sides.

Heat the Pan: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until it shimmers.

Sear the Steak Bites: Add the seasoned steak cubes in a single layer (do this in batches if needed to avoid overcrowding). Sear for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they reach your desired level of doneness (medium-rare to medium is recommended for tenderness).

Add Garlic Butter: Once the steak bites are nearly done, reduce the heat to medium and push them to one side of the pan. Add the butter and minced garlic to the empty side. Allow the butter to melt and the garlic to become fragrant (about 1 minute).

Combine: Once the garlic is fragrant, toss the butter and garlic with the steak bites, coating them fully in the flavorful sauce.

Finish and Serve: Remove from heat, sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley, and serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side for a burst of freshness if desired.
